Information Collection and Usage
When visitors leave comments on the site the following is collected: the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms and email

This site uses some necessary cookies to speed up the website and enhance user experience. These do not store any personally identifiable information and will expire after a month.

Sharing your data with/Third-party apps
No sharing or selling of information
Information will not be shared with or sold to third parties for any purpose– business, marketing or otherwise–unless based upon prior consent and communication; nor will information be used (other than mentioned with the above subscription) for any internal marketing or commercial business-related purposes, again, unless with your consent or communication.
However, as mentioned above, when interacting with particular third party applications via the contact and/or donation forms, information may be shared.

Donations and GiveWP/PayPal
If you submit a donation through the site it is processed through the GiveWP, WordPress plug-in and by PayPal. Information about that donation such as your name, amount and any other provided information or relevant information will be collected in accordance with their policies and terms, as well as by this site in accordance with information that is internally or legally required for tax and other purposes. Information and/or data including browsing data and cookies may be collected through those third party sites/applications.
Subscription service and MailChimp
If you in any way, either through direct email, contact forms, newsletter signup, subscription forms or otherwise, provide your email address, it may be used to send you updates about the website, such as about new posts.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Information provided in any of the otherwise mentioned ways will be stored accordingly: donation information will be stored (as mentioned) in accordance with internal and legal necessity; contact information and communications will be stored until deleted within the context of personal usage (such as deletions of the related emails) or upon request (email firstname.lastname@example.org).
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
